Low-Cost Vaccines
In addition to giving initial vaccinations to all adoptable cats and dogs and as part of our mission to improve animals’ quality of life, the Humane Society of Indianapolis offers low-cost vaccinations for pet cats and dogs at our 7929 N. Michigan Rd. shelter.
The clinic does not provide emergency vet care. If your pet requires emergency veterinary care, please refer to the Emergency Vet Care directory.

Clinic Hours

Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays 1pm - 7pm and Saturday 8am - 1:30pm

No appointment necessary. Clients are served on a first-come, first-served basis as clinic hours allow.
All pets must be in carriers or on leashes, no exception.

This low-cost clinic is not intended to replace the relationship between pet owners and their regular veterinarian. Only basic services and products are available at this clinic and veterinary advice on other matters will not be provided. It is important for an animal’s overall health and well-being to be seen regularly by a private veterinarian.

Do not bring sick animals to the clinic. Consult with your regular veterinarian if your animal is ill or injured.

Aggressive animals may be turned away and referred to private veterinarians where their special needs can be more easily accommodated.

This clinic does not provide general health exams nor can it provide certificate for interstate or international travel. These requests need to be completed through a family veterinarian and requirements for travel should be researched through specific national consulate. The Humane Society will provide a list of partner veterinary clinics for your reference if requested.

NEW: IndyHumane’s Low – Cost Vaccine Clinic will now be offering 3 year rabies vaccines. Here is how to qualify:

A client must bring veterinary records showing administration of a 3-year rabies vaccine within the past three years.

A client must have received a rabies vaccine through the Humane Society Low-Cost Vaccine Clinic within the past year. Humane Society staff will examine the record to determine if vaccine boosters were administered at appropriate intervals.
