Volunteer Program
The Humane Society of Indianapolis is once again accepting volunteers! We are looking for volunteers for a variety of positions and times. Currently we are in great need of volunteers who are available during the day on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.
There are a variety of positions open in which you will work with shelter puppies, adult dogs, kittens and adult cats. In order to be a Humane Society of Indianapolis volunteer you should be able to commit to the following:
Two hours a week for a scheduled shift
Be at least 18 years old
Must be able to read, write, and participate independently (without supervision)
Successfully complete training provided for your position
